At ARUP Laboratories, we understand the unique challenges of diagnosing neurologic conditions in pediatric patients. Our pediatric neurology testing is designed to support clinicians with accurate, timely, and clinically relevant results.

Featured Test
Genome Sequencing (3019943)
Whole genome sequencing is the preferred test to establish a diagnosis when a genetic condition is suspected but clinical features are not suggestive of a single disorder. ARUP also offers Rapid Genome Sequencing (3019947) for acute scenarios when timely answers are essential.
Featured Testing for Pediatric Neurologic Conditions
Autoimmune Neurologic Diseases
ARUP offers autoimmune neurology panels built with pediatric-specific considerations in mind. We include antibodies such as myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG) that are more commonly associated with encephalopathy in children than in adults. Additionally, to minimize unnecessary testing, we exclude paraneoplastic antibodies that have low diagnostic yield in pediatric populations.
