On February 15, 2023, ARUP will update the “Pending” tab within the Order Status and Results page of ARUP Connect™ to allow you to quickly see if you have any excepts or delays within the time frame you specify. This new feature will be located in the upper left of the screen and can be used to filter your view to focus on excepts, delays, or both, if needed.
We have also made it possible for you to filter the “Status” column so you can select the statuses you would like to focus on.
The “Search” tool will be changed to "Filter" and will still be available for those who prefer to use that feature. It allows you to filter for anything within the table itself (patient name, order date, test, status, etc.). It can also be used in conjunction with the new feature. For example, if you click on “Delays,” you can use the filter bar to further narrow your table to a specific test based on patient name, MRN, etc.
- The enhancements made to the Pending tab enable a quick visual of any outstanding issues that may need attention.
- These updates will not interfere with your everyday work or use of Connect's Order Status and Results "Pending" tab. Rather, they will provide insight into any potential specimen or test submission issues that need to be addressed, as well as delays that may need to be reported.
