| Specimen Required: |
Collect: One 5 mL lt. blue (sodium citrate). Please refer to the Hemostasis/Thrombosis Specimens section in the front of this User's Guide for specimen collection instructions.
Storage/Transport Temperature: 1 mL platelet-poor plasma, (lt. blue, sodium citrate), frozen. (Min: 0.5 mL) Submit specimen in an ARUP Standard Transport Tube.
Remarks: Separate plasma from cells and freeze ASAP.
Unacceptable Conditions: Serum. Specimens collected in sodium fluoride, and heparin.
Stability (collection to initiation of testing): Ambient: Unacceptable; Refrigerated: 1 hour; Frozen: 2 months
