Specimen Required:  
Collect: One 4 mL SST, lavender (EDTA), pink (K2EDTA), green (sodium or lithium heparin), or gray (sodium fluoride/potassium oxalate).

Transport: 1 mL serum or plasma at 2-8°C. (Min: 0.2 mL)  Submit specimen in an ARUP Standard Transport Tube.

Pediatric Collection/Transport: 0.2 mL serum or plasma at 2-8°C.

Stability: After separation from cells: Ambient: 2 hours; Refrigerated: 1 week; Frozen: 1 month
