Collect: Serum separator tube.

Specimen Preparation: Transfer 1 mL serum to an ARUP Standard Transport Tube. (Min: 0.5 mL)

Storage/Transport Temperature: CRITICAL FROZEN. Separate specimens must be submitted when multiple tests are ordered.

Unacceptable Conditions: Plasma. Non-frozen specimens. Grossly hemolyzed or lipemic specimens.

Stability (collection to initiation of testing): After separation from cells: Ambient: 2 hours; Refrigerated: 5 hours; Frozen; 1 month
