Transport: 1 mL serum, frozen. (Min: 0.5 mL)  Protect from light.  Submit specimen in an ARUP Amber Transport Tube.

Pediatric Collection/Transport: 0.3 mL serum, frozen.  Protect from light.

Remarks: Protect from light during collection, storage, and shipment.

Unacceptable Conditions: Hemolyzed and heparinized specimens. 

Stability: Ambient: 8 hours; Refrigerated: 2 days; Frozen: 3 months
