Specimen Required:  
Collect: One 3 mL green (sodium or lithium heparin) or lavender (EDTA) or pink (K2EDTA).

Transport: 1 mL whole blood, frozen. (Min: 0.2 mL)

Pediatric Collection/Transport: 0.15 mL whole blood frozen.

Remarks: CRITICAL FROZEN. Separate samples must be submitted when multiple tests are ordered. Transfer well-mixed whole blood into an ARUP Standard Transport Tube and freeze.

Unacceptable Conditions: Nonfrozen samples.

Stability: Ambient: 2 hours; Refrigerated: 24 hours; Frozen: 2 weeks
