Specimen Required: Collect:  One 5 mL lavender (EDTA) or pink (K2EDTA). 

Storage/Transport Temperature:  5 mL whole blood. (Min: 2 mL) Transport at 20-25°C.  Send Sunday-Thursday only.

Remarks:  Specimen must be received within 24 hours of collection; testing must be performed within 48 hours of collection. DO NOT FREEZE. Test results are unreliable in infants younger than 6 months of age.
