For the second year in a row, ARUP was honored with a Best Companies to Work for Award for 2019. This recognition falls on the heels of a Top Workplaces 2019 honor that ARUP received last month.
Employee feedback via a third-party survey has earned ARUP all three awards. Eighty percent of employees must respond in order to qualify. ARUP was in a category for those companies whose workforce exceeds 2,500 employees.
“High five your colleagues! Every employee should be proud of what they bring to our company,” says CEO Sherrie Perkins, MD, PhD.
According to Utah Business, which oversees the competition, all of the companies that participated in the program went through a rigorous examination of workplace elements such as benefits and pay, fairness and opportunities, corporate culture, internal communication and employee pride. To be eligible for the program, companies must have at least 25 employees working in Utah. Finally, each of the honoring companies are separated, based on company size: micro, small, medium, large and extra large. ARUP was in the largest category with a workforce of about 4,000 employees.
