Hematologic Cancer

ARUP offers a comprehensive array of over 60 tests in the area of hematopathology including flow cytometry, molecular diagnostics, immunohistochemistry, cytogenetics and fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH). Among the molecular tests currently offered are FLT-3, NPM-1, CEBPA, WT1, MPL, JAK2 (V617F), JAK2 (exon 12), IDH1/2, KIT, PML-RARA and BCR-ABL1 kinase. In addition, quantitative PCR testing is available for PML-RARA and BCR-ABL1 (p190 and p210). Extensive FISH testing, for both fresh and fixed specimens, is available to aid in the diagnosis and prognostication of numerous myeloid and lymphoid neoplasms. An expanded menu of immunohistochemical stains is offered by ARUP with “stain and return” service. Flow cytometry services including interpretation and consultation integration are also available.
