This month, ARUP launched a new feature within our eExcept tool in ARUP Connect™, namely, we now display specimen and container images that have been placed with our Exception Handling team in Salt Lake City.

For some time now, photos of samples triaged at ARUP Specimen Receiving are taken, stored for archiving and used in troubleshooting, as needed.

Our new work now adds the image(s) to the exception detail in eExcept. This allows you to review samples as they were received at ARUP, and by viewing the images, you and your teams will be able to use this for improved training of specimen preparation.
