Select a Route
Couriers can select routes in their market area so they can follow their pick up schedule if an Admin has assigned Organizations to their user profile.
Couriers can make an unscheduled stop, make changes to a current route if needed, and view route progress.
- Select BAG PICKUP on the home screen. The Select Route screen opens.
- Select a courier on the Select Courier drop-down menu. The Select Courier screen opens.
Note: If the courier only belongs to one organization, the organization name, location and pick up times appears.
- Select the courier.
Note: If the courier belongs to more than one organization, the Select Courier pop-up screen displays and the courier can select an organization.
- Select OK. The site names, addresses, days, and pick up times display for the route.
- If more than one route is available, select the route in the Select Route drop-down menu. The Select Route pop-up screen opens.
- Select the route and then OK. The site names, addresses, days, and pick up times display for the route.
- Select Start Route. The Execute Route screen opens.
- Enter the box ID and bag number(s).
If there are no bags to pick up from a client site:
- Select the upper right menu
on the Execute Route screen. - Select No Bags to Pickup. The No Pickup screen displays.
- Select a comment option on the Select Comment drop-down menu.
- Enter your own (must be between 10 and 300 characters).
- Client did not have specimens to ship.
- Facility was closed.
- Select OK.
- Select Save. A confirmation message displays.
Note: The data is submitted when the pickup is completed.
If you need to make an unscheduled stop at a client site:
- Select the upper right menu
on the Execute Route screen. - Select Add Unscheduled Stop. The Execute Route screen opens.
- Enter the client ID in the Client ID field.
- If the client cannot be found enter, the client name in the Client Name field.
- Select Save Client Name. Enter the box ID and bag number(s).
If you need to end the current route:
- Select the upper right menu
on the Execute Route screen. - Select End Route. The Confirm End Route pop-up screen opens.
- Select CONFIRM END ROUTE to end the route, or CANCEL to keep working on the route.
If you need to make a change to the current route, or if a courier needs to take over a route for another courier:
- Select the upper right menu
on the Execute Route screen. - Select Change Route. The Select Route screen opens.
- Select a courier from the Select Courier drop-down menu.
- Select OK.
- Select Start Route. The Execute Route screen opens.
- Enter the box ID and bag number(s).
Couriers can view the current route progress on the Route Progress screen.
- Select the pick up icon
on the Execute Route screen. The Route Progress screen opens and you can view the current status of the assigned routes.
- Indicates current route.
- Indicates completed route.
- Select CLOSE to return to the Execute Route screen.
