This button is shown when a new test is ordered. When you select the Add Comments button, a box will appear prompting you to enter Chartable Comments and/or Non-Chartable comments. Enter the comment and then select Continue.

Once a comment is saved, the Edit Comments button displays. Select this button to open the Comments box and make any changes necessary. If you need to remove a comment, select Clear at the Comments box and the comment will be cleared. Select Continue to save the changes.

Select this button, located next to the test name, if you want to cancel that test. The test will be removed from the test list. The information required here depends on the test ordered. Enter prompt information as instructed below.

This button indicates that some required information has not been entered. Select this button to enter the additional information required for this test. The information required here depends on the test ordered.

This icon indicates that some non-required information has not been entered. Select this icon to enter additional information for this test, if applicable.

If the physician’s name does not appear after searching, select this button to add a new physician. A window opens where you will enter the physician information.

Select this button to search for and add the admitting physician.

This icon indicates that the additional information required for the test has been provided. Select the icon to view the information.

Indicates the user has viewed the list of documents to provide for that specific test.

Select this icon to view links to forms that are available for the test. The dual page icon indicates that more than one document is available. Users have the ability to print the forms.

Select this icon to view the available PDF in the Laboratory Test Directory (LTD). Users have the ability to print the PDF.

This icon indicates that the ordered test has more information available in the Laboratory Test Directory (LTD).

This icon indicates that the test is marked as time-sensitive and requires special shipping. A link to instructions on shipping time-sensitive tests displays beneath the icon.

Select this icon to view additional technical information for the test. You can also print the PDF.

Select this icon to view supplemental resources for the test. You can also print the PDF.
