Xinjie Xu, PhD, FACMG

Medical Director, Cytogenetics and Genomic Microarray
Dr. Xu is an assistant professor of pathology at the University of Utah, School of Medicine. She received her PhD in genetics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed a clinical cytogenetics fellowship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a clinical molecular genetics fellowship at Boston University. Dr. Xu is board certified by the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics in both clinical cytogenetics and clinical molecular genetics. Dr. Xu is a member of the Board of Directors for the Cancer Genomics Consortium. She is also a fellow of the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics and a member of several professional societies, including the American Society of Hematology, Association for Molecular Pathology, and the American Society of Clinical Pathology. Her research interests include the identification of novel molecular markers in cancer and the development of novel diagnostic tools for genetic testing.
