Medical Necessity Letter Templates Available for
16 Genetic Tests
The new 2013 CPT codes have created genetic reimbursement challenges, even for tests that were routinely reimbursed in the past. ARUP created the medical necessity templates to help clients meet these challenges.
The American Medical Association Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes published in ARUP's Laboratory Test Directory are provided for informational purposes only. ARUP strongly recommends that clients confirm CPT codes with their Medicare administrative contractor.
