Transport: 1 mL serum, plasma, or urine at 2-8°C. (Min: 0.5 mL) Submit specimen according to Biological Substance, Category B, shipping guidelines. Pediatric Collection/Transport: 1 mL whole blood, 0.5 mL serum, plasma, or urine at 2-8°C. Submit specimen according to Biological Substance, Category B, shipping guidelines. Remarks: CRITICAL STERILE. Do not freeze whole blood specimens. Unacceptable Conditions: Heparinized or clotted specimens. Stability: Ambient: 8 hours; Refrigerated: 3 days; Frozen: 1 month |
