Specimen Required: Collect:  5 mL plain red.

Transport:  2 mL serum, frozen on dry ice. Submit specimen in an ARUP Standard Transport Tube.

Remarks:  CRITICAL FROZEN.  Separate specimens must be submitted when multiple tests are ordered. Allow blood to clot at room temperature for 20 to 60 minutes.  Must be separated from clot and frozen at -70 ° C or on dry ice within 2 hours of draw.

Unacceptable Conditions:  Serum separator tubes.
