| Specimen Required: |
Collect: One 5 mL lavender (EDTA) or pink (K2 EDTA) pre-chilled tube.
Transport: 1.8 mL plasma, frozen. (Min: 0.6 mL) Submit specimen in an ARUP Standard Transport Tube.
Remarks: CRITICAL FROZEN. Additional specimens must be submitted when multiple tests are ordered. Spin, separate, and freeze plasma immediately. Do not thaw.
Unacceptable Conditions: Serum.
Stability: Ambient: Unacceptable; Refrigerated: 8 hours; Frozen: 1 month
