| Specimen Required: |
Collect: One 5 mL lavender (EDTA) or plain red. 12 hour fast is preferred, but not required.
Transport: 4 mL plasma or serum at 2-8°C. (Min: 2 mL) Submit sample in an ARUP Standard Transport Tube.
Remarks: Critical Refrigerated. Specimen needs to reach the testing facility within 4 days of draw time.
Unacceptable Conditions: Specimens more than 10 days old. Serum separator tube collection tubes.
Stability: Ambient: unacceptable, Refrigerated: 10 days, Frozen: unacceptable
