| Specimen Required: |
Collect: One 6 mL green (sodium heparin).
Transport: 5 mL whole blood at 20-25°C.
Remarks: Previous leukemia/lymphoma phenotyping is required. If prior studies were not performed at ARUP, the outside flow cytometry report and histograms must accompany the specimen. If outside reports and histograms are not provided, a Neoplastic T-cell Evaluation test (0093000) will be added, at an additional cost. Sample should be received within 24 hours of collection for optimal viability. In addition, please provide CBC, Wright's stained smear, clinical history, differential diagnosis, and any relevant pathology reports.
Stability: Ambient: 48 hours; Refrigerated 48 hours; Frozen: Unacceptable
