| Specimen Required: |
Collect: One 6 mL serum separator tube or plain red.
Storage/Transport Temperature: 2 mL serum, frozen. (Min: 0.5 mL) Submit specimen in an ARUP Standard Transport Tube.
Remarks: EDTA or heparin plasma specimens are also acceptable.
Unacceptable Conditions: Hemolyzed, or lipemic specimens.
Stability (collection to initiation of testing): After separation from cells: Ambient: 24 hours; Refrigerated: 1 week; Frozen: 4 weeks
