Collect: Lavender (EDTA), pink (K2EDTA). Also acceptable: Plain red.
Specimen Preparation: Separate from cells within 2 hours of draw. Transfer 1 mL serum or plasma to an ARUP Standard Transport Tube. (Min: 0.22 mL)
Storage/Transport Temperature: Refrigerated. Also acceptable: Room temperature or frozen.
Unacceptable Conditions: Separator tubes.
