Collect: Plain red, gray (sodium fluoride/potassium oxalate), green (sodium heparin), lavender (EDTA), or pink (K2 EDTA).
Specimen Preparation: Separate serum or plasma from cells ASAP. Transfer 3 mL serum or plasma to an ARUP Standard Transport Tube. (Min: 1 mL)
Storage/Transport Temperature: Refrigerated.
Unacceptable Conditions: Serum separator tubes.
Stability (collection to initiation of testing): Ambient: 1 week; Refrigerated: 2 weeks; Frozen: 17 months
