Specimen Required:  
Collect: One 7 mL plain red, gray (sodium fluoride/potassium oxalate), green (sodium heparin), lavender (EDTA), or pink (K2 EDTA).

Transport: 2 mL serum or plasma at 20-25°C.  (Min: 0.5 mL)  Submit specimen in an ARUP Standard Transport Tube.

Unacceptable Conditions: Separator tubes.

Stability: Ambient: 2 weeks; Refrigerated: 2 weeks; Frozen: 18 months
