| Specimen Required: |
Collect: One 5 mL plain red, lavender (EDTA) or pink (K2EDTA).
Transport: 1 mL serum or plasma at 2-8°C. Submit specimen in an ARUP Standard Transport Tube.
Pediatric Collection/Transport: 0.6 mL serum or plasma at 2-8°C.
Remarks: Separate serum or plasma from cells ASAP. Do not use gel separator.
Stability: After separation from cells: Ambient: 6 weeks; Refrigerated: 6 weeks; Frozen: 11 months
