Transport: 0.5 mL serum, frozen. (Min: 0.2 mL) Submit specimen in an ARUP Standard Transport Tube. Pediatric Collection/Transport: 0.1 mL serum, frozen. Remarks: CRITICAL FROZEN. Additional specimens must be submitted when multiple tests are ordered. Allow serum to clot completely at room temperature. Separate serum from cells ASAP. Unacceptable Conditions: Nonfrozen specimens. Stability: Ambient: Unacceptable; Refrigerated: Unacceptable; Frozen: 1 month |
