Specimen Required:  
Collect: One 4 mL SST.

Transport: 2 mL serum, frozen.  (Min: 0.5 mL)  Submit specimen in an ARUP Amber Transport Tube. Protect from light.

Pediatric Collection/Transport: 0.4 mL serum, frozen.

Remarks: Allow serum to clot completely at room temperature before centrifuging.  Protect from light during collection, storage, and shipment.

Stability: After separation from cells: Ambient: 8 hours; Refrigerated: 2 days; Frozen: 3 months
