Collect: Serum separator tube or plain red.

Specimen Preparation: Transport 1 mL serum. (Min: 0.75 mL) Also acceptable: Heparinized plasma.

Storage/Transport Temperature: Frozen.

Unacceptable Conditions: EDTA plasma.

Stability (collection to initiation of testing): Ambient: 4 hours; Refrigerated: 1 week; Frozen: 1 month
