Specimen Required: Collect: Lavender (EDTA). OR CSF, synovial fluid, or skin punch biopsy.

Specimen Preparation: Separate serum or plasma from cells. Transfer 1 mL serum, plasma, CSF or synovial fluid to a sterile container. (Min: 0.5 mL)
Skin Punch:
Snap freeze immediately and transport on dry ice.


Storage/Transport Temperature: Frozen.

Submit specimen according to Biological Substance, Category B, shipping guidelines.


Remarks: Specimen source required.

Unacceptable Conditions: Heparinized specimens. Frozen whole blood. Clotted or severely lipemic specimens.
