Specimen Required:  
Collect: One 5 mL lavender (EDTA), pink (K2EDTA), yellow (ACD Solution A), or one 3 mL lavender (EDTA) bone marrow.

Transport: 5 mL whole blood or 3 mL bone marrow (EDTA) at 2-8°C.

Pediatric Collection/Transport: 1 mL whole blood or bone marrow (EDTA) at 2-8°C.

Remarks: Do not freeze.

Unacceptable Conditions: Frozen or clotted samples.  Serum or severely hemolyzed whole blood.

Stability: Ambient: 24 hours; Refrigerated: 5 days; Frozen: Unacceptable
