The Ki-67 antigen is used to estimate the growth fraction of a tumor cell population. In many malignancies, a high Ki-67 value generally correlates with an aggressive behavior. Results of this test should be interpreted with caution on the context of other data. Assay is performed on paraffin-embedded, formalin-fixed tissue. Antibody clone is MIB-1 and the detection system is LSAB. Please refer to Statement B in the Compliance Statements section in the front of the Laboratory Test Directory. *ExistInterpData> |
