Specimen Required:  
Collect: Chorionic villus in a sterile, screw-top container filled with tissue culture transport medium.  (Cytogenetics tissue media, ARUP Supply #32788) Do not place in formalin.

Transport: Chorionic Villus (CVS) sample in a sterile, screw-top container filled with tissue culture transport medium at 20-25°C.     

Remarks: Do not place in formalin.

Unacceptable Conditions: Frozen specimens or specimens preserved in formalin.

Stability: Ambient: 48 hours; Refrigerated: Unacceptable; Frozen: Unacceptable
