Collect: One 5 mL lavender (EDTA) or pink (K2EDTA).
Transport: 3 mL whole blood at 2-8°C. (Min: 1 mL)
Remarks: DO NOT FREEZE. Caution: Do not place whole blood directly on cool packs when shipping.
Unacceptable Conditions: Frozen, clotted, or hemolyzed specimens. Specimens collected in green (sodium or lithium heparin).
Stability: Ambient: 4 hours; Refrigerated: 1 week; Frozen: Unacceptable
