| Specimen Required: |
Collect: One green (sodium or lithium heparin) pediatric tube. Also acceptable: serum separator tube.
Storage/Transport Temperature: 0.8 mL serum or plasma at 2-8°C. (Min: 0.2 mL) Submit specimen in an ARUP Amber Transport Tube.
Remarks: Protect from light during collection, storage, and shipment.
Stability (collection to initiation of testing): After separation from cells: Ambient: 4 hours; Refrigerated: 1 week; Frozen: 6 months (if protected from light).
