Collect: One 3 mL lavender (EDTA) or pink (K2 EDTA), or one 4 mL green (sodium or lithium heparin).
Transport: 3 mL whole blood at 2-8°C. (Min: 1.5 mL) DO NOT FREEZE.
Pediatric Collection/Transport: 0.6 mL whole blood at 2-8°C. DO NOT FREEZE.
Unacceptable Conditions: Hemolyzed, frozen, or clotted samples.
Stability: Ambient: 8 hours; Refrigerated: 4 days; Frozen: Unacceptable
