Specimen Preparation: Do not freeze red cells.
Transport 7 mL whole blood. (Min: 5 mL)
Pediatric: Transport 0.5 mL whole blood.
Storage/Transport Temperature: Refrigerated.
Unacceptable Conditions: Separator or gel tubes.
Stability (collection to initiation of testing): Ambient: 72 hours; Refrigerated: 1 week; Frozen: Unacceptable
