Collect: Testing is limited to the University of Utah Health Sciences Center, Primary Children's Medical Center, and Intermountain Shriners Hospital (1017) only.
Lavender (EDTA) or pink (K2EDTA).
Specimen Preparation: Do not freeze. Transport 7 mL whole blood. (Min: 3 mL)
Storage/Transport Temperature: Room temperature.
Remarks:
Unacceptable Conditions: Frozen specimens. Separator tubes.
Stability (collection to initiation of testing): Ambient: 72 hours; Refrigerated: 1 week; Frozen: Unacceptable
