Amy Lowichik, MD, PhD

Staff Pathologist, Pediatric Pathology
Dr. Lowichik is an associate professor of pediatric pathology at the University of Utah School of Medicine. She is also the director of Autopsy Service and Anatomic Pathology at Primary Children's Medical Center and the associate chief of the Division of Pediatric Pathology at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Dr. Lowichik received her PhD in zoology and microbiology at Tulane University and her MD at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She served as a pediatrics resident at the Children's Medical Center of Dallas and a pediatric pathology fellow at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. Dr. Lowichik is board certified in pediatric pathology, clinical pathology, and anatomic pathology, and is a member of the Society for Pediatric Pathology. Dr. Lowichik's research interests include pediatric gastrointestinal pathology and medical education.
