The ATOP Report—Features and Pricing Structure

ARUP can build an ATOP report that fits each client’s needs, from a basic analysis comparing testing patterns, to ARUP’s benchmark data of commonly misused tests, to a customized analysis of data provided.

Analysis of client’s reference lab test mix based on ARUP’s database of frequently misused tests, with recommendations based on national guidelines, published clinical studies, industry best practices, and expert opinion
Printed and electronic copy of report
Review of the top 80 percent of lab tests ordered by order volume and cost
Complete analysis of testing patterns by an ARUP pathologist and Web conference with the pathologist to explain the report
Breakdown of testing by age, sex, and/or result distribution
Aggregate list of ordering providers by test

Client-Provided Data Sets: The ATOP team can also analyze clients’ internal testing data. The additional analysis can be added to either of the above reports at a fee based on the type and volume of client-provided data. For example, ARUP can provide an analysis of laboratory-utilization data broken down by facility. Please call for an estimate.
