SALT LAKE CITY, September 15, 2008—ARUP Laboratories, a national medical reference laboratory and a leader in innovative laboratory research and development, announced the release of ARUP Consult® v.3.0—The Physician’s Guide to Laboratory Test Selection and Interpretation. The new release builds upon ARUP Consult’s success as an award-winning diagnostic tool. The new release offers a number of new features and enhancements including expanded diagnostic information, disease-specific update notification, and improved navigation.
"With this release, we have focused our development on easing the burden placed on physicians to stay current on ever-changing laboratory information,” said ARUP's medical director of Informatics, Brian Jackson, MD, MS, who heads the ARUP Consult project. “This physician’s guide concentrates information on nearly 2,000 tests into a concise test selection and interpretation tool that allows users to make informed diagnostic decisions and improve patient care.”
