ARUP Laboratories Signs Agreement with Atlas Development Corporation to Provide Physician Office Connectivity Services
SALT LAKE CITY, October 2, 2006ARUP Laboratories, a national clinical and anatomic pathology reference laboratory and a leader in innovative laboratory research and development, has entered into a service agreement with Atlas Development Corporation, to provide physician office connectivity solutions for ARUP clients as part of the company's ARUP Direct™ Total Outreach Solution. Atlas LabWorks® will enable ARUP client laboratories to seamlessly interface with referring physicians through online order entry and test results. This interface will assist in reduction of turnaround times and specimen handling errors, increased revenue, improved productivity, and enhanced client communications.
