The wildcard symbol (*) can be used in place of letters or characters in query words to search for different permutations of a word.
Search terms can be a single word or several words. The search engine automatically inserts and between words if nothing else is specified, so the Boolean term and can be omitted in search terms. For example, searching for tissue assay is the same as searching for tissue AND assay.
