Dr. jackson on Managing Laboratory-Test Use

In his article published in Clinics of Laboratory Medicine, Brian Jackson, MD, MS, medical director of Informatics at ARUP, focuses on potential over-, under-, and misuse of individual laboratory tests. According to Dr. Jackson, pathologists and clinical laboratory scientists can help physicians provide higher-quality, more cost-effective care by helping them utilize online test catalogs that direct them toward optimal test algorithms.
