ARUP consult ® showcased in sybase customer-success story
ARUP Consult, The Physician's Guide to Laboratory Test Selection and Interpretation, uses Sybase iAnywhere to push information to physicians' mobile devices, allowing for easy and timely access to test selection and interpretation information. Originally developed for the Web, ARUP Consult, with content that is updated every eight weeks, is also available for download via PDAs at point-of-care.
Andrew Olson, product manager for ARUP Consult, explains that "because information goes out of date so quickly we needed to have a more dynamic delivery mechanism," and a printed guide would be obsolete almost immediately. Publishing content to PDAs via M-Business Anywhere from Sybase iAnywhere facilitates a rapid, cost-effective extension of existing Web-based content.
